| Q | I cannot burn a dvd with the nc6400 or 6910p. |
| A | There is a limitation in Windows XP that does not allow the operating system to burn DVDs without the installation of a third party software program. If you have a leased nc6400 or 6910p laptop, please visit either of the Walk-Up HelpDesks to get Sonic DigitalMedia Plus installed. Back to top |

| Q | Network problems with 6910p leased laptops or any other computer running Vista. |
| A | An incompatibility between Windows Vista and the Apple Bonjour application causes the operating system to behave incorrectly when connected to a network. This includes, but is not limited to, not being able to load a webpage if you plug your network cable into your laptop after it has already booted. All 6910's that were deployed with Vista have the Bonjour program installed. What is bonjour? Bonjour detects other devices on the network and is used by popular programs such as iTunes, Ruckus, and Adobe Creative Suite 3. In iTunes and Ruckus it is used to see other people's shared playlists. What options do I have to fix this?

| Q | Why don't my speakers work when my Macbook is booted into Vista? |
| A | When booted into Vista a number of Macbooks have no audio. It appears that this is primarily affecting some of the 2007 Macbooks which need an updated audio driver installed. People reporting this problem also have stated that there is a red light coming from their audio jack, indicating that optical audio output has been enabled. To resolve this problem, boot your Macbook into Windows Vista and then download and run the following: Sigmatel Driver Update Back to top |
| Q | Cannot update Flash Player on HP laptops |
| A | When trying to update flash from the Adobe webpage, the process may hang and never finish. This problem is due to and older version of flash on the computer that is failing to uninstall correctly. Please download and run this Flash Uninstaller, restart your computer, and then visit www.adobe.com to install Flash. Back to top |
